The team at Creative Tours have put together the first ever Noosa Distillery Tour taking guests to sample gin at 3 new local distilleries in the Noosa region.
Having worked with many local producers in the past, Creative Tours have now teamed up to connect gin lovers to local distilleries and local stories. The official launch tour takes place on Sunday 21 February and has already proven to be hugely popular with locals and tourists booking well in advance.
Departing from Noosa this new tour heads to the Hinterland to visit 2020 Distillery in Cooroy where you are greeted with a drink on arrival before heading on a tour of the distillery where you will learn a little more about how gin is made. Following the tour, you will be taken through a guided tasting of a flight of 2020 range of gin.
Just a short drive up the road takes you to the second stop of the tour at Pomona Distilling Co. Here you are served up a delicious lunch with a choice of a signature gin cocktail or tasting flight of gin. This is a small-batch boutique distillery specialising in artisan spirits made with a focus on quality, not quantity.
Then its back towards Noosa as we head to the very first distillery established on the Sunshine Coast ’Fortune’ Noosa Heads Distillery. When you walk in the door you will be blown away with their impressive venue with the Distillery acting as a picturesque back drop while you choose from their range of gins to sample. This includes a London Dry, Navy Strength, Barrel Aged, and a collaboration gin with local restaurant Sum Yung Guys that must be tried!
