GourMay - Mary Valley Food Trail
Taste your way through the Mary Valley!

Creative Tours has collaborated with a range of Mary Valley producers to bring you the ultimate local foodie experience. Tasting your way through the Mary Valley on a scenic drive with exclusive access to local farms, as well as the opportunity to meet the makers and hear more about their stories.
Lunch is included, along with a range of delicious tastings and drinks throughout the day as you meet prodcuers such as Big Heart Bamboo, Kenilworth Dairies, John Tidy Organics, and a final stop to discover more about wild macadamias grown in the region.

This tour is available 7 days a week for private group bookings.
Departing from Noosa the tour makes its way west past Eumundi and out to the first stop at Big Heart Bamboo. Here we meet owner Becky who will tell you more about their edible bamboo shoots, take us on a tour of the bamboo farm, and also provide us with samples of their award-winning pickled bamboo.
A short drive takes us into the town of Kenilworth where we make a stop into Kenilworth Dairies. We get to taste their amazing products which are made fresh from quality milk originating from nearby Mary Valley farms, and we also learn more about the Cochrane family who took over the cheese factory in 2017 and have been dairy farmers for 6th generations.
Our next stop is for lunch is at the café at Kandanga Farm Store, whose objective is to assist farmers and food producers grow nutrient dense, clean food. Much more than a café, Kandanga Farm is also a Certified Organic 200 acre working cattle property in the Mary Valley and produce Kandanga Farms’ K2 Beef. This will feature in our lunch with shared platters of salads featuring local produce. (Dietary requirements can be catered for on request)


Then we head to visit John Tidy Organics in Amamoor which is an organic farm that produces avocados, honey and some other small crops. John will take us on a tour of his beautiful farm which overlooks the Mary Valley.
Our last stop for the day is a Walk with Wild Macadamias. An easy 10 minute walk sees us explore the history of the Macadamia nut, which evolved in the rainforests on the east coast of Australia over 60 million years ago.
From here we make a relaxed journey back to Noosa to finish up an amazing day out exploring the Mary Valley Food Trail!
