Creative Tours have carefully curated a range of authentic local foodie experiences for this years Curated Plate on the Sunshine Coast. Focusing on local produce, fresh seafood and also teaming up with renown food forager Diego Bonetti to deliver some delicious insights into local produce.
The Falls Farm to Fork Experience offers a captivating exploration of the region’s best culinary offerings, with an exclusive tour of The Falls Farm and custom dining experience at Mapleton Public House. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of sustainable farming, learn about the origins of their food, and savour the delicious flavours that define the Sunshine Coast.
The tour begins with a guided farm tour at The Falls Farm, where guests discover the diverse range of produce cultivated specifically for renowned restaurants across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. Participants will be invited to taste their way through the farm, sampling the crops and gaining valuable insights into sustainable farming practices.
From there, attendees will be transported to the historic Mapleton Public House, where a custom 3-course lunch menu awaits. Renowned head chef, Cameron Matthews, has curated a bespoke menu featuring fresh produce from The Falls Farm, as well as an array of ingredients sourced from other local producers in the region.
The Trawler to Table provides a similar experience but is tailored more to lovers of seafood and focuses on the famous Mooloolaba prawn. Relax on a scenic cruise from the Wharf precinct down to the Mooloolaba fisheries for a tour of the fish markets and sample the famous Mooloolaba prawn, followed by delicious waterfront lunch at See Restaurant.
The Sunshine Coast has an abundance of fresh seafood that is caught daily off the coastline of Mooloolaba. This tour will give you a behind the scenes look at the local industry, as well as some of the stories of our local businesses.
The Foraged Plate will be offered on 2 dates in collaboration with Diego Bonetti, aka The Weedy One. Learn more about local foods growing in the wild across the Sunshine Coast as you visit a local foraging location, followed by a lunch prepared using foraged foods and local produce.

We believe in supporting our local farmers and producers, as well as showcasing their exceptional products. Our signature Farm to Fork and Trawler to Table experiences allows participants to truly connect with the origins of their food and gain a deeper appreciation for the culinary treasures of the Sunshine Coast.
